St Nick’s Knacks Rummage Sale Aug 17 and 18

St Nick's Knacks Rummage Sale Aug 17 and 18

On August 17 and 18, a Friday and Saturday, we will hold our annual St. Nicholas Rummage Sale, from 9AM – 3PM. We will definitely need “all hands on deck” for this event. Start gathering your unwanted items to bring in. Ideally, we ask donations to be brought in starting August 1st. Holy Innocents Hall will be the site for the sale, which also spills out into the Gathering Space and into the office area. We will start setting up the Hall the week of August 13th, and need lots of help!

Plan ahead to see if you have any time to help set up, assist at the sale and to help clear things out on Saturday afternoon. 4:30 Liturgy follows immediately after.

We need YOU to make our Rummage Sale a success!

Our Annual Rummage Sale will take place on Friday, August 17 and Saturday, August 18, from 9AM to 3PM both days.

This is our major fundraiser for the year, and we need all hands on deck to make it a success. How can you help? We need:

  • Everyone to spread the word. Go to our Facebook page and “join” the event and share with your friends.
  • Everyone to bring in items to sell, ideally by next Sunday, August 12.
  • Everyone to make plans to stay after church (or come back if you attended the Saturday liturgy) this Sunday, August 12, when, immediately following the 10AM service, we’ll transform Holy Innocents Hall into a bargain bonanza! With everyone helping to put away chairs, set up tables and display and price items, we’ll be set up in no time!
  • People to let Manny know when they can spend an hour or two Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of the week of the sale to continue to organize and price.
  • Everyone to sign up to volunteer on the dates of the sale. We simply can’t have enough volunteers. We need cashiers for the main table and boutique room, floor walkers, greeters, baggers/wrappers. Click this link to sign up online.

Thank you, in advance! The sale is a wonderful community-builder, and an opportunity to welcome people to St. Nicholas. We guarantee you’ll have fun! Most importantly, the whole idea is that everyone participate, however that’s possible for each person.
